Does Cum Cure Morning Sickness?

Many of our lusty readers are either thinking about conception or are in the process. There are so many ways to maximize your experience during pregnancy. For example, how about a more sensual pregnancy? And we all sometimes need to be reminded of useful kegel exercises. But what about cum? Is this actually true that semen cures morning sickness? GetLusty writer Marian Sanchez reports.

* * *

According to Gordon Gallup, a psychology professor at the University of Albany-SUNY, there is a cure for morning sickness and its... Semen! But before you let your partner make a blowjob joke, or you roll your eyes, read this. Gallup's study interests include evolution and behavior, biology of interpersonal attractions and semen chemistry and behavior. He has published over 250 articles and has appeared in a few documentaries, one being The Science of Sex Appeal (2009).

His research findings? When a woman become pregnant, her body interprets her partners' semen like a virus which makes us ladies sick to our stomaches. (His alternative theory states it's not the food that is the problem, it's the foreign matter growing in your womb.) Gallup says to prevent further morning sickness, pregnant women should consume the baby's father's semen to help lessen the effects of an early pregnancy. Why? Because it will help inoculate the mother to better adjust to her pregnancy.

In short, the father of your child started this pregnancy with your help and now he can ease you're suffering if you are willing to swallow. Deep throat blowjob, anyone? Don't swallow that cucumber just yet. (Or, do. If you're passionate, deep throats are amazing!) Earlier this year, Jezebel noted that Salon.com writer Tracy Clark-Flory talked with no other than Gordon Gallup himself. And Gallup seemed to all but retract his semen-indused findings (noting they were largely correlational). Dear, me!

My personal take:

My pregnancy was fairly normal. When it came to oral sex, I had a difficult time being the giver during my first trimester due to exhaustion, vomiting (yes, morning sickness), work and school. At one point on a romantic trip with my husband, I even retched on him after the taste of his pre-cum hit my tongue. Kind of seems ironic that the thing that's supposed to make you feel better has such a reaction.

Once my life settled into the second trimester, sex became fun again. I noticed on occasions when giving my husband a blowjob, the taste of his ejaculation no longer twisted my insides and its unique flavor became enjoyable once more. However, even after reading up on Dr. Gordon Gallup, I can't say with any absolute certainty my morning sickness was completely abolished after every blowjob I gave simply because I never kept a sex or pregnancy journal. I was too busy being in the moment to take the time to write out my thoughts.

What about you? I am curious to know if any pregnant (past or current) ladies can remark on this topic! Did you give oral and did it settle your stomach?

This article was fashioned by GetLusty writer Marian Sanchez. Marian has many passions, writing being the oldest for her. When she isn't working on articles for GetLusty, she's with her amazing family and her five-cat herd. She enjoys all kinds of movies and TV, spending time with wonderful friends, going to Chicago metal shows and finding humor in everyday life. She has a horrible habit of wanting to learn all kinds of new things and going to different places. When it comes to sex, Marian has a raunchy good mouth and an open mind (which pleases her husband immensely).

How to Cultivate a Sensual Pregnancy

Pregnant or considering pregnancy soon? As women, sometimes the first thing we think about is the negatives of pregnancy. The morning sickness, the worry or grief of a sick baby. How will I be as a mother? Did I really just let my child fall on the floor because I wasn't watching her? OK, these are totally natural. But what about you?! Where do you fit in all of these? Is there any way to make pregnancy and afterwards not only bearable--but pleasurable? As our friends Dr. Janelle and Rob Alex note, not only is there an opportunity to make pregnancy sensual. There are plenty of opportunities! Find out more; read on.

The body changes drastically from the moment of conception. And, those changes continue not only through the next nine to ten months, but for weeks and possibly months after your new bundle of joy arrives. Women are beautiful, sensual and sexual creatures. Yet, for many, once they discover they are pregnant the idea of being sensual or sexual quickly evaporates.

There are many reasons that this may be the case. For example, “Morning sickness”, new hormones running rampant, weight gain. Maybe an unsupportive partner, the upcoming financial strain of a new child, your body image or other health concerns are all potential reasons you may not feel sensual or sexy during all or part of your pregnancy. So, is it even really possible to have a sensual pregnancy? Yes!

First of all, be aware that being sensual does not necessarily mean the same thing as being sexual. Sensuality is about gratifying the senses. Become more fully present in the moment and become fully aware of your body and your emotions.

While pregnant your sense of smell and sense of taste may very well become heightened. Eating delicious foods, especially ones you may have cravings for, can be shared with your lover. Savor in your heightened taste sensations. Slowly bite into that fresh piece of fruit. Take your time lifting the spoon to your mouth, close your lips around it and slowly remove it as you pull this wonderfully delicious treat onto your tongue.

Allow a soft, pleasure-filled moan to escape from your throat. It doesn’t matter if you are early on in your pregnancy with no baby bump or if you are nine months along and your yummy food is balanced on your baby belly instead of the table. Your lover is likely to get turned on by your sensual eating. You can add to the experience by having him/her feed you these tasty bites. You can even choose to close your lips around his/her fingers as you are fed.

As your tummy begins to grow be proud of it instead of insecure about your expanding girth. Opt for clothing that accentuates your baby bump instead of wearing big, sloppy clothing in an attempt to hide it. This is a special time in your life, whether planned or not. Take into consideration that not everyone can offer a baby a safe and sacred space to grow in. Yet, here you are doing just that. Honoring the rigorous, yet divine, work your body is capable of is beautiful. Wearing attractive clothing is always a great way to help you feel more sensual and sexier. Being pregnant doesn’t change that. There are a lot of spouses/partners who find pregnant women highly attractive. Together, you created a child, therefore, together you can relish in the sexy changes in your body.

Being pregnant means your body is increasing its blood flow and increasing the secretions from oil glands. These changes are what help give you that pregnancy “glow”. Your cheeks may be pinker and your skin shimmers from the extra oil. You also glow energetically. We all emit light energy. It is our life force energy. You may better understand it as your aura.

Now, consider that you are carrying another life inside of you and his/her little life force energy is also emitting light. It is no wonder that you seem to “glow” during pregnancy because you really are glowing. And, more often than not others are drawn to the light. This means you may be even more attractive to some than normal. Look at yourself in the mirror. Run your hands over your body and feel the difference in your skin. Allow your lover to do the same. Together you can celebrate the new life your lovemaking is bringing into the world.

Oftentimes, as your body grows heavy with child you may really want and/or need a foot rub, a back rub or even a tummy rub. This is a beautiful time to experience a sensual massage from your honey. He/she can enjoy exploring the changes in your body as you relax and focus on the sensation of his/her touch. If the two of you progress to a more intimate sensual massage, you can release oxytocin and thereby ease any pregnancy pain you may have been experiencing. As you probably already know, as you become sexually aroused the body releases this feel-good hormone. But, did you know that with the increased blood flow, your labia may become engorged during these months. This offers the potential for a new orgasmic experience.

Feeling sensual and sharing in lovemaking with your beloved are not only things you can and should enjoy during your pregnancy, but they are very beneficial for you, your lover, and your unborn baby. For women, pleasure and orgasm are excellent for mental and emotional health as well as physical health. In fact, as you are preparing for labor and delivery, know that semen has a hormone called relaxin, which softens the cervix and lengthens the pelvic ligaments. This hormone can be received orally as well. What a great way to encourage and assist your baby’s entrance into the world.

Experiencing sensuous pleasure throughout your pregnancy can lead to a quicker and easier delivery. It doesn’t guarantee it, but either way you can relish in the sensuality of your pregnancy. Wait! You don’t feel like having sex with your partner? No problem. You do not have to have intercourse. You can experience pleasure orally. You can pleasure yourself.

Of course, due to the increased hormonal activity in the body many women find themselves feeling far more sensual as well as more sexually aroused throughout their pregnancy. You may or may not be one of those women, but you can increase your sensuality simply by honoring you, your body and the changes that are taking place.

Experiencing and enjoying your sensuality and your sexuality throughout your pregnancy will help your body prepare for the birth. This can also deepen the intimate bond with your partner.

One final note for you – while you are in labor if you visualize making love to your sweetheart, you will actually be helping yourself to relax vaginally. This is a natural way to offer yourself assistance during this experience and may even lead you to have an orgasmic birth.

(*Only participate in sexual activity if your heart is healthy enough and you are not experiencing any other serious health issues.)

Tighten Up! How to Practice your Kegels

You'd think this is how to exercise your Kegel muscles. No. But doing your Kegels are just as simple! Think of the benefits of working out: it improves your sex life, outlook on life and self-esteem (it's Naked November, after all). The human body consists of several hundred muscles. Exercising each and every muscle can be a bit daunting--but it doesn't have to be. Today, we would like to share some exercise tips for the all important Kegel muscles. What makes them so important? How does one exercise their Kegel muscles anyway? GetLusty's Jason Estrada reports.

* * *

Raise your hand if you know what and where your pubococcygeus (PC) muscles are. Never heard of it? Well, you might wanna pay attention. The PC muscles are part of the pelvic floor, and these muscles play a big role in your daily life. These muscles stretch from your anus to your urinary sphincter and hold your internal organs in place.

Back in 1948 a doctor by the name of Arnold Kegel published something called a pelvic floor exercise. Today, we call it a Kegel exercise. All it really consists of is repetitive contractions and relaxation of the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor. Most people, today, refer to them as the "Kegel muscles."

Below are reasons why you want to exercise these muscles:

Pregnant Women

All sorts of craziness happens to a woman's body during, and after, pregnancy. I don't mean "craziness" - I mean, a woman's body is endowed with natural and beautiful manifestations. Beautiful things like vaginal prolapse, uterine prolapse, and urinary incontinence. Kegel exercises can prevent and treat these effects of pregnancy.

Men (pregnant or not)

Don't worry men, you're in no danger of vaginal prolapse, but urinary incontinence does affect you. Another thing to keep in mind is your prostate. Kegel exercises are beneficial in treating prostate pain and swelling due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostatitis.

Better Sex!

Now that we have your attention: Dr. Kegel published a report that claimed women doing these exercises were climaxing more easily, more frequently, and with greater intensity.

Research published in BJU International concluded "that pelvic floor exercises should be considered as a first-line approach for men seeking long-term resolution of their erectile dysfunction. After the 3 month study, 40% of men regained normal erectile function, and 35.5% had experienced some improvement.

Also, having more control over these pelvic muscles is said to have benefits for the problem of premature ejaculation.

Exercises for Women

First, you have to find your pelvic floor muscles. A good trick is to stop urination in midstream. The alternative is doing the same exercise after you've stopped peeing. The muscles that stopped your urine are the ones you're looking for. Now finishing emptying your bladder. You should always have an empty bladder when exercising your pelvic floor muscles.

Now that you're off the "John", go lie on your back. Contract your pelvic floor muscles and hold for 5 seconds, then relax for 5 seconds. Do a set of 4 to 5. Your goal should be to constantly improve the amount of time you can keep the muscles contracted. Work up to 10 second repetitions. Also, keep your focus on the pelvic floor muscles. Don't flex your abs, thighs, or buttocks. This exercise is no different from any other, so keep breathing. Do not hold your breath.

For the gents

Locating the "Kegel" muscles is the same for men. During urination, stop or slow down the flow. Another way - pretend you're trying to stop the passage of gas. Yep, there it is. Squeezing the pelvic floor muscles gives us guys a pulling sensation. Now do it like the ladies. Start with a set of 4 to 5 second contractions, and work your way up to 10 second reps.

The goal for both men and women should be 3 sets of 10 second repetitions each day.

Kegel exercise tools

Naturally, there are a large array of tools manufactured and sold to help exercise this tiny little patch of muscles.

Kegel Balls: Also known as ben wa, these weighted pairs of glass or metal balls are inserted into a woman's vagina for the mere purpose of having something to hold onto.

Vaginal Cone: These weighted devices work like the Kegel balls. These cones can be rigid or filled with gel or a fluid. Once inserted, just hold on.

Biofeedback: It's not as intense as it sounds. That's a lie - it is pretty extreme. Biofeedback uses electrical stimulation to help identify your pelvic muscles, and can also exercise the muscles for you.

Kegel Exerciser: These are meant for resistance training. It looks like a hand grip strengthener. After it's inserted into the woman's vagina, the handles are spread apart. The woman, then, squeezes the handles together, building muscle strength by holding the device closed for several seconds.

If you can't seem to locate your "Kegel" muscles, or are having trouble strengthening the area, go ahead and look into these kinds of tools. If you don't need them, then don't waste your money.

Tool or not, don't ignore the importance of a strong pubococcygeus muscle. Stay Lusty!

3 Ways To Feel Sexy Again After Giving Birth

It's Naked November so, we want to make sure that everyone feels comfortable being naked even if you just gave birth recently. In fact, having a new child should be an even bigger reason to celebrate because you may now have a very sexy motherly figure to show off. Congratulations! GetLusty's resident sexy mom and staff writer Eileen Prouffe reports.

While it might take a few months to a whole year to feel totally back to normal mentally and physically after giving birth, that doesn't mean you cannot embrace your new figure right away. Since every body is unique, most women will not bounce back like a celebrity right after having a baby, especially if it is not your first baby. This is natural and normal and you really shouldn't rush or overwhelm yourself to have to get back to your pre-pregnancy size. Don't let society or other people pressure you.  Do what feels right for yourself.

A lot of women actually leave the hospital still looking pregnant because it takes time for your uterus to go back to normal especially if you had a c-section like I have had twice. So, if you were able to experience natural birth, you're lucky because your body should restore itself faster and even quicker if you breast feed.

#1 Get Moving

We're all about safety at Get Lusty so, as soon as your doctor permits, start getting some physical exercise besides all the running around you will be doing taking care of your new bundle of joy. The best way to get moving is in the bedroom when possible. Make sure you take some time out for yourself and your significant other to take care of business. It will not only help you relive stress, but burn calories too.  Get on top and be proud of yourself.  There's nothing to be ashamed of. The more confident you feel, the more your partner will be attracted to you.

#2 Take Care Of Your Skin

It's very easy for your skin to get stretch marks and lose it's elasticity after giving birth so, the best way to feel good and accept your new skin is to take care of it and treat it well. Don't believe that all of these stretch mark creams are going to cause a miracle to happen, but they will help improve the tone and look of the skin over time. If I knew of something that could cause a total transformation, I'd tell you, but I don't. I've tried various products and still have stretch marks. I've learned to accept them and be proud of what I have gone through and you should too. While magazines may act like stretch marks are unsightly, they're wrong; skin and bones are actually unsightly. Stretch marks are a mother's reminder of the sacrifice they went through. So, be proud of the skin you bear and flaunt it!

#3 Take Pictures Of Your New Body

Celebrate your new body by taking pictures of it and creating new memories of the new you. There are many boudoir photographers that can take pictures of you, your new baby and you can even get your partner in on it too. I have a really good friend who has five children and lives in California and even though she has lost her baby weight, she is not afraid to post pictures on Facebook of herself in a bikini showing off her stretch marks. There are some very sexy motherly pictures that can be created so, don't be afraid to check it out experience something new. It's all about feeling good about yourself and not worrying about what other people are thinking of you. Just as I thought my friend was beautiful in her pictures, people will think the same of you and they will actually respect you for what you've gone through and how you're not afraid to be yourself. If you think and feel sexy, it's impossible to not be perceived as sexy.
